EMTC submitted a statement for the record to the Senate Finance Committee relating to its February 16th hearing on “Ending Trade that Cheats American Workers By Modernizing Trade Laws and Enforcement, Fighting Forced Labor, Eliminating Counterfeits, and Leveling the Playing Field.”
In its statement, EMTC outlined two important concepts for cross-border e-commerce: 1) systems-based governance using AI and ML to manage trade risks; and 2) a "Trusted 2 Trade" global supply chain program. These concepts are part of EMTC's 21CCF Proposal released in November 2022.
EMTC is seeking trade community support for its proposal by completing the 21CCF Form.
