CBP Forced Labor Technical Expo

  • Tue, March 14, 2023
  • 8:00 AM
  • Wed, March 15, 2023
  • 5:00 PM
  • Ronald Reagan Building Atrium (Concourse Level) located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004

Any company that imports product from China needs to be aware of U.S. prohibition on importing goods made by forced or indentured labor.   In 2021, Congress passed the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), which is enforced by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).  A recent example is a UFLPA Region Alert requiring data validation through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

The Forced Labor Technical Expo will feature panels composed of U.S. Department of Homeland Security and CBP personnel, as well as representatives from other U.S. Government agencies. The panel discussions will address U.S. Government agency initiatives and future innovations in supply chain transparency.

This is a free event that will be in-person and live stream.  Registration details for attendees and technology providers can be found in the Federal Register notice and CBP's website at:
