U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has released an enhancement whereby ACE will provide a warning when a shipment may exceed the $800 per person/per day threshold for the administrative exemption under Section 321. The threshold will be based on the estimated date of arrival (EDA) for entry type 86 (ET 86) submissions and de minimis shipments to be released off the manifest.
