On October 3, 2025, Senator Ron Wyden issued a letter to Commerce Secretary Lutnick seeking information about the rollout of the President's Executive Order 14324 ending de minimis. The letter asks the Secretary if the Department made an analysis or engaged in outside consultation about the impact of the end of de minimis. Senator Wyden, who is Ranking Member of the Senate Finance Committee, asked for a response by October 31, 2025.
