EMTC joined over 30 trade associations in a letter to USTR Jamieson Greer seeking to engage the Administration to revisit the United States' position on digital trade rules, which were pulled back during the Biden Administration.
These digital trade rules would facilitate cross-border data flows, prohibit data localization requirements, non-discrimination against U.S. digital products and services, discriminatory digital services tax, and protecting source code access by foreign governments.
